“The rose is without ‘why’; it blooms simply because it blooms.
It pays no attention to itself, nor does it ask whether anyone sees it.”

  1. Well, you inspired me to open a Weebly page, but I'm kind of using it more as a journal than a means to actively showcase writng. So it is very personal, but its exactly the kind of writing I'd do if only strangers would see it. I've always admired Sylvia Plath, Anne Bradstreet, and Anne Sexton for wearing their hearts on their sleeve when it came to writing (Strangely all women); however, it can be tough to express oneself honestly when the people you know will see it. \”Pillow Talk\” was one where I danced very close to the line and had to do some explaining after posting it, but to avoid the issue altogether, I opened the site.Anyway, it's great to see you back here writing!

  2. Hello Jade, So good to know you through your profile on the blogger. I am also glad to stop by your blog \”Blush of Dawn\” and the post on it \” Winter Rose\”. The scriputure quote is one of my favourite verse in the Bible. Those roses are beautiful. Since the quote expresses your heart's desire to bless the Lord for what He has done for you. I want to share an opportunity you can have of coming to Mumbai, India on a short / long term missions trip to work with us in the slums of Mumbai among poorest of poor to share the good news of Jesus Christ and to give them new hope, future and purpose. I have been the Pastoral ministry for last 34yrs in the great city of Mumbai a city with great contrast where richest of rich and the poorest of poor live. We reach out to the poorest of poor with the love of Christ to bring healing to the broken hearted. We also encourage young people like you as well as adults from the West to come to Mumbai on a short / long term missions trip to work with us during their summer vacation. We would love to have you come to Mumbai with your friends to work with us during your summer time. Looking forward to hear from you very soon. My email id is: dhwankhede(at)gmail(dot)com and my name is Diwakar Wankhede

  3. Sometimes it depends on how you say it, not always the subject matter, but yeah this is a complex issue I have thought about often. I don't think I could be as straight forward/darkly personal as some of the writers you mentioned, for the public. I tend to save my more secret thoughts for my completely private journal and my penpals. :)Thanks for the welcome back! Best wishes with your writings.
