Silent Repose

i am silent tonight, i might be a little quiet tomorrow, you hear all that you want that is true. i hadn’t fallen to drop i have just landed this way and i don’t have to dream in vibrant color. i’ve landed as you imagine i should, i looked up with just my eyes, you saw what you liked, saw what was true, i hadn’t fallen to drop. i’ve landed, i look the way i am more fun than perfect and still pure how i’ve wanted, how you’ve seen, i’ve seen something better than a word with you. i rest now as if i’d folded perfectly and was unfurled too, relaxed, eyes closing now, holding, held, as we’ve been as we are.
