A Loop Jump

I like that someone may be free with words, walk down a library aisle, see an old book on the uppermost shelf and think, ‘That might’ve been a book a person who died long ago read and it made them wish to live.’

I’ve noticed that some writers want nothing more than to appear very smart. They may use a long, obscure word and repeat it as if to say, ‘I know what that word means.’ And then make some complex sentence structures like, ‘See what I did there? Crazy how I can turn these phrases on you! Watch me do it again.’

I am not saying this is bad, but a thing. 🙂
