I sketched this view again, a scene from my imagination I’d shown, and this time I added to the subject and added colored pencils with the pastel (wasn’t a great blend of two mediums for me but I tried).
Seeing this, I found a change to make to the subjects. I am finding my way to a certain mood that I think may be achieved by combining the moods of these two drawings.
The canvas I now have and will paint the version I find most truest (truest even through imagination)… I drew this sketch for planning, along with three other artists at The Gallery last night…listening to some emotionally compelling music…and creating our separate artwork together.
